Mississippi Woman Arrested After Razor Blades and Fish Hooks Found Hidden in Walmart Bakery Items

MISSISSIPPI — A Texas woman was arrested in Biloxi after authorities say she inserted razor blades and a fish hook into Walmart bakery products, triggering an urgent consumer safety alert across multiple stores. The suspect, identified as 33-year-old Camille Benson, was taken into custody on December 16, 2025, following reports that sharp metal objects were discovered inside loaves of bread and a muffin purchased by customers.

Investigators say the tampering incidents may have begun as early as December 5, when the first customer reported finding a razor blade lodged inside a loaf. Walmart management immediately inspected bakery shelves and uncovered multiple compromised products, prompting them to notify police and remove all affected items.

So far, no injuries have been reported, which officials describe as extremely fortunate given the severity of the objects involved. Investigators say the case qualifies as a serious public endangerment incident, and Benson now faces a charge of attempted mayhem. Her bond was set at $100,000.
