HAZEL CREST, Ill. (WGN) – One person was killed and two others were injured in a shooting Wednesday evening in Hazel Crest.
The Hazel Crest Police Department said at around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers were sent to a home in the 3300 block of Birchwood after receiving multiple calls of shots fired. When officers arrived, they found two men who had been shot.
The officers helped treat the victims’ injuries before they were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center for further treatment.
