ISP arrest man near Galesburg as part of anti-human trafficking operation

GALESBURG, Ill. (WMBD) — The Illinois State Police arrested a Chicago man in Galesburg during a Human Trafficking Demand Suppression Operation on Thursday.

John O’Leary, 41, was arrested for several charges, including promoting commercial sexual exploitation of a child, indecent solicitation of a child, traveling to meet a minor and grooming, according to the state police.

According to online court records, O’Leary had not yet been formally charged in Knox County Circuit Court as of Friday afternoon…
