The Bolingbrook Police Department on Tuesday arrested two Sandwich teens and a Romeoville teen in connection with an armed robbery.
Nineteen-year-olds Julius Kidd and Jelani Whitfield of Sandwich, along with a 17-year-old from Romeoville, were taken into custody in the 100 block of Nutwood Court. Police say the robbery happened at a home where the victim had arranged to meet to purchase items. Officers say the initial response led to the recovery of five firearms.
