BARRINGTON, Ill. (WGN) – The owners of a luxury consignment shop in the northwest suburbs have poured everything into building their boutique. They say they are devastated after a group of suspects tried to rip away years of hard work in a matter of seconds.
According to ReStyle Designers of Barrington, the group broke into the business, located in the 100 block of South Cook Street, just after 5 a.m. Sunday and nearly cleaned out the store within a minute.
“Our hearts are broken,” the owners wrote in a post on their social media accounts. “We are devastated, but we are not giving up. This store has always been about the community, and our clients and consignors are more than customers, you are our family.”…
