A Joliet man is charged with Aggravated Battery after an incident on Sunday evening at a Walmart in New Lenox. New Lenox police were called to the store at 501 E. Lincoln Highway in New Lenox for a Battery complaint.
The victim identified the subject as 27-year old Anthony J. Francimore who lives in the 200 block of Criswell Drive in Joliet. Francimore allegedly wore a mask when he attempted to punch the victim with a closed fist. The two fought briefly before Francimore fled. The
victim had minor scratches to their face as a result of the incident and did not require medical attention…
