Police in a Chicago suburb found a woman dead inside her home on Tuesday after her husband called 911 and said he saw a home surveillance feed that appeared to show his wife’s ex chasing her into their garage.

In a press release Wednesday, the Oswego Police Department said responding officers found the woman “unresponsive” inside her home shortly after 1 p.m. local time and paramedics soon pronounced her dead at the scene.

“The caller reported that he believed his wife was in danger after observing, via home surveillance, a male subject run after his wife into their garage,” said the police in Oswego, located roughly 50 miles west of Chicago. “The caller believed the male to be the wife’s ex-husband.”…
