TINLEY PARK, Ill. — Monday marks the 18th year since five women were shot and killed inside a Lane Bryant store in Tinley Park.
On Feb. 2, 2008, the Tinley Park Police Department said a man posing as a delivery driver at the clothing store, located in the Brookside Marketplace on West 191st Street, pulled a gun on the women and forced them into a back room, where he shot and killed five of them.
The five women killed were Carrie Chiuso, 33, of Frankfort; Connie Woolfolk, 37, of Flossmoor; Sarah Szafranski, 22, of Oak Forest; Rhoda McFarland, 42, of Joliet; and Jennifer Bishop, 34, of South Bend, Indiana.
