OAK BROOK, Ill. (WGN) — Police in Oak Brook are getting a new tool to stop high speeds in their suburb.
Police officials are outfitting squad cars with a device called the “Grappler,” which attaches to a fleeing driver’s bumper. The new device helps police officers during dangerous pursuits while keeping suspects in sight.
