SCHAUMBURG, Ill. — The man accused of fatally shooting his daughter-in-law in the parking lot of a Schaumburg hotel last July has died.
According to court records, Roland Schmidt, 76, of Stillman Valley, died in from complications due to cancer on Tuesday, Feb. 3.
