AURORA, Ill. — The Aurora Police Department says a call about an individual armed with a knife at a home in the 1700 block of Greene Court on Sunday was resolved peacefully.
Police say officers were called around 12:30 p.m. for a report of a person in crisis who was armed. A trained supervisor spoke with the individual from outside the home, and the person eventually came out and spoke calmly with officers. A knife was later recovered from the residence.
The individual was taken to a hospital for evaluation. Police did not announce any charges…
