Undersheriff: Rural Oswego murder investigation evolving hourly

YORKVILLE, Ill. — The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office says it is gathering more information about a homicide in rural Oswego on Sunday. A 14-year-old girl was treated and released after suffering a gunshot wound to the leg, and a man was shot and killed in the 0–99 block of Palomino Lane.

Undersheriff Bobby Richardson is asking anyone who saw anything or has security footage to come forward.

“I know we’re gathering information hourly it seems like,” Richardson said. “We’re looking for any information the community has. We’ve asked that several times in some press releases. If they’ve got any video or saw something or could be of any help we strongly ask, for their support. This is something that’s very tragic and we’re going to continue to investigate it to the fullest.”…
