Channahon Man Indicted in Grundy Co., Accused of Burglarizing Business

A 43-year-old Channahon man was recently indicted by a Grundy County grand jury on six felony charges. Brandon Cracraft was charged with two counts of burglary, both class two felonies and three misdemeanor charges of criminal trespass to a vehicle. He was also charged with four counts of forgery, all class three felonies in another case.

The bill of indictment alleges Cracraft burglarized a business in the 200 block of West Mondamin Street in Minooka on November 11th and November 12th of 2025. In that same case, he is also accused of entering into a vehicle belonging to that same business on Mondamin Street in Minooka November 10th, November 11th, and November 12th. The Minooka Police Department investigated that case.

The indictment in the forgery case alleges that Cracraft forged four checks belonging to the aforementioned business between February and March of 2025. The Minooka Police Department also investigated that case. Cracraft was arrested on a Grundy County warrant by the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, February 16th.
