A New Lenox man is charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident.
At 7:35 p.m. on Monday, March 2, New Lenox police officer was dispatched to a hit and run accident at the railroad tracks near Gougar Road and Berens Drive. The officer spoke with the involved parties, and learned that the vehicles were stopped for a passing train when a subject in a dark SUV collided with the rear of a stopped vehicle. The force pushed that vehicle into the car that was stopped in front of it, as well. The driver of the SUV then pulled around the other vehicles and fled the scene…
