Romeoville man charged after crashing into Oswego squad cars

A Romeoville man is facing charges after police say he crashed into two pulled-over squad cars early Monday morning in the area of Route 30 and Treasure Drive in Oswego. No one was in the squad cars, and no one was hurt in the crash.

48-year-old Javier Parras is charged with aggravated DUI, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle, and driving with a revoked license.

Police say the two squad cars were pulled over for an unrelated stop at the time. The crash happened just before 1 a.m…
