NILES, Ill. (WGN) — Violent winds tore a huge chunk of the roof off a high school in Niles on Friday morning just before students were scheduled to arrive for the day.
Shortly after 7 a.m., powerful winds ripped part of the roof off Charles H. Walsh Senior Academy and Career Tech High School, located off Touhy Avenue in Niles.
