The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for parts of the Chicago area as several inches of snow could snarl the morning commute.
According to the NWS, that advisory will take effect in McHenry, Lake, DeKalb, Kane, DuPage, LaSalle and Kendall counties, along with northern Cook County, beginning at 10 p.m. Sunday.
