Braidwood, IL – A major water rescue operation is underway Saturday morning in Will County after an out-of-control boat was reported on Braidwood Cooling Lake.
According to initial dispatch reports, the emergency began around 9:18 a.m. near 35264 S Cemetery Road. Authorities say an unmanned boat was seen circling on the lake, raising immediate concern that two individuals had entered the water.
