Located just past the railroad tracks in downtown Winfield, the creamery is a family-owned business run by Katrina and David Muenster. The couple opened the ice cream shop in December 2025 with the goal of establishing a designated spot for the community to enjoy ice cream.
After months of anticipation, the Winfield Creamery is finally open for business.
For co-owner Katrina Muenster, the idea for the shop sprang from a warm summer day stroll with her youngest son through the downtown Winfield area. It was during that walk that Katrina identified a gap in the neighborhood: there was no ice cream shop within easy walking distance.
