At approximately 1 a.m. on 03/29/2026 the Will County Sheriff’s Office received several 911 calls regarding a large fight and possible shooting near 27000 S. State Line Road in Crete.
Deputies arrived and found a large crowd and shooting victims. Our deputies began life-saving measures, and three shooting victims were transported to area hospitals. One shooting victim later died at the hospital in Olympia Fields.
Preliminary investigation shows this incident appears to be isolated and domestic-related as it occurred during a family party…
