Two Aurora men are under arrest for allegedly firing a handgun recklessly early Thursday last week.
The Aurora Police Department says 31-year-old Roque Parra-Salinas and 27-year-old Vrian Cruz are both charged with reckless discharge of a firearm and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. Additionally, Parra-Salinas is charged with driving under the influence.
Police were called for a report of gunshots in the area of East Downer Place and Union Street. A license plate reader identified a vehicle in the area, leading to the arrests, which happened without incident. Two others in the vehicle were not charged…
