Oswego School District 308 says Oswego East teacher James Vassalla was fired by the Board of Education earlier this month.
The district says Vassalla was dismissed after an investigation found alleged communication that went outside safe and appropriate boundaries with a young person. The district also says the communication was not with a student in the district.
