Car crashes into Oak Brook restaurant, injuring 2

OAK BROOK, Ill. (WGN) – Two people were injured after a car crashed into an Oak Brook restaurant Tuesday morning.

The Oak Brook Fire Department said just after 10 a.m. Tuesday, crews were sent to the 2000 block of York Road to investigate reports of a car that had crashed into a building. When crews arrived, they found a four-door sedan that had crashed into the glass windows at the Egg Harbor Cafe.

Two people were taken to Elmhurst Hospital with minor injuries, according to investigators.
