DUI arrest made in January multi-vehicle crash that injured 3, 1 critically, in Joliet

JOLIET, Ill. (WGN) — Police have announced an arrest months after three people were injured, including one person with life-threatening injuries, in a multi-vehicle crash in southwest suburban Joliet.

William Hutchinson, 31, of Joliet faces two felony counts of aggravated driving under the influence (DUI) and one count of reckless conduct following the Wednesday, Jan. 28 collision.

Investigators allege that Hutchinson was drunk at the time of the crash.

According to Joliet police, officers responded to the intersection of North Broadway Street and Ingalls Avenue just before 7 p.m. for a report of the crash…
