Additional charges filed in Oswego robbery and crash case

The Oswego Police Department says additional charges have been filed against a DeKalb man accused in an armed robbery in Oswego that resulted in a crash in Aurora early Saturday morning.

Twenty-two-year-old Timothy J. Rodgers is charged with armed violence, aggravated robbery, unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon.

Police allege the victim was robbed at gunpoint while in his vehicle in the 200 block of Concord. The victim then went into his home, retrieved a gun, and fired at the suspect vehicle after one of the suspects allegedly pointed a gun at him…
