TOPEKA (KSNT) – A recall is now in effect for multiple snack mix products over concerns they may be contaminated with salmonella.
John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc., of Elgin, Illinois, announced this week a voluntary recall of several snack mixes sold at retail stores under the brand names Fisher, Squirrel Brand, Southern Style Nuts, and Good & Gather, a private-label brand sold at Target. The products are being recalled as a precautionary measure over concerns that a seasoning blend used in the mixes may be contaminated with salmonella.
