Anthony’s Restaurant & Pub has closed its doors, one week after a murder occurred outside its doors. The establishment, located a 3151 Voyager Lane in Joliet, just west of the Louis Joliet Mall, has had a troubled past, with a number of issues occurring over the past 12 years.
In fact, it was just one week ago, in the early morning hours of Sunday, May 3, that a man was shot and killed in the area of Anthony’s Restaurant & Pub. Joliet police found a 31-year old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. That man later died at St. Joseph Medical Center. The investigation into the murder is continuing.
