A former volleyball coach from Elburn is being charged with sexual assault.
The Kane County State’s Attorney’s Office alleges 54-year-old Arthur D. Weathers abused a victim he was coaching while with the First Kill Volleyball Club in Elgin.
Prosecutors say Weathers was a coach or assistant coach with the club between 1999 and 2003 and that the victim was 16 when the abuse began…
