For Heaven Shakes has been serving ice cream in downtown Bonita Springs since 2009, but owner Susie Sayger believes its biggest draw isn’t found in the freezer. It’s found around the tables, where conversations linger a little longer after the last bite in an increasingly digital world.
The atmosphere is easy to spot inside the shop.
Grandparents sit and catch up with their grandchildren, dogs stand by convinced the next pup cup has their name on it, and children squeal as they run to scope out the flavors while Sayger’s dog, Mr. Watson, keeps watch from the neighboring flower shop…
