Summer cocktails, Bleu Provence specials amid summer restaurants opening and closing

Bleu Provence and Ocean Prime share their summer specials from cooling cocktails to sizzling Wagyu Beef Wellington. Meanwhile, restaurants are closing and others are opening throughout the Naples area, including from dowtown Naples up to Coconut Point.

Ocean Prime rolls out four summer cocktails

At Ocean Prime, it’s time for tasty summer cocktails.

  • The Cucumber Gimlet is crafted with Bombay Sapphire Gin, muddled English cucumber and fresh lime juice. It pairs well with the Hamachi Crudo sushi.
  • A Black and Blue Mojito with Bacardi Rum, fresh blackberries and blueberries, mint and fresh lime juice pairs nicely with Ocean Prime’s Jumbo Lump Crab Cake.
  • The Black Orchid, crafted with Grey Goose Vodka, St-Germain, fresh lemon and white cranberry juice, is a good choice to accompany the Chilean Sea Bass.
  • Berries and Bubbles is a sparkling cocktail crafted with Ketel One Citroen Vodka, marinated berries, fresh lemon juice, Piper Sonoma Brut and dry ice smoke. It goes well with the Prime Roll.

During happy hour from 4-6 p.m. Monday through Friday, diners can enjoy $5 off lounge menu items and specially priced cocktails, beer and wine.

Bleu Provence presents Wagyu Beef Wellington

Bleu Provence presents the return of Chef Gaspard’s Homemade Wagyu Beef Wellington — offered for three more exclusive evenings. Priced at $73.99 per person, the dish will be served from 5-9 p.m. on July 24, Aug. 14 and Aug. 28.

At the center of the preparation is a center-cut Wagyu filet. Seared to a deep mahogany crust to seal in its natural juices, the filet is then coated with a mushroom duxelles prepared with shallots, thyme, garlic and a whisper of truffle before being flambéed with Pastis…
