Naples CEO advocates for children’s protection

When a child experiences abuse, the aftermath often becomes an overwhelming blur of repetitive questioning by multiple strangers. The Collier Children’s Advocacy Center and its Child Protection Team avoid this exhausting cycle by bringing together forensic interviewers, medical providers, family assessment specialists and key partner agencies into a child-centered environment. This coordinated, compassionate approach ensures children receive comprehensive care while telling their story just once, in a safe and supportive setting.

An independent nonprofit, Collier CAC often serves as the first point of contact for families when abuse or neglect is suspected in Collier County. While we work closely with law enforcement, the Department of Children and Families and other agency partners, we are not a government agency. Community support helps make these services possible and ensures children and families can access critical care at no cost.
