After just 2 1/2 years, North Naples movie theater Alamo Drafthouse closes for good this week at Mercato. It’s the Texas movie-theater chain’s only Florida location.
The theater might not be empty for long, though. Florida-based movie chain Paragon Theaters — which owns the Paragon Pavilion across U.S. 41 from Mercato in The Pavilion shopping center — plans to move into the 33,652-square-foot Alamo space and aims to reopen by December or January.
