BISHOP VEROT

Nine Vikings put pen to paper on Signing Day, bringing Bishop Verot’s total to 19 so far for the school year. Signees included Ryan Gadson and Parker Turner, who plans to continue their football careers at Lafayette and Navy, respectively.

School: University of West Florida

Why West Florida? I took a visit up there last weekend, and, when I went up there, the coaches made it feel like a family. I feel like I would want to spend my future there.

School: Trinity College of Florida

Why Trinity? I chose Trinity because it was a bit of everything I needed. I wanted to play soccer, of course, but I wanted a small, private Christian college just because I was raised Christian. I just enjoy the smallness of schools I’ve been at, and it just felt like a family when I went there, so I choose family over basically anything any day.
