The Golden Gate Community Park Court Resurfacing Project, at 3300 Santa Barbara Boulevard, Naples, will start on February 26, 2024, and end on May 27, 2024. The Collier County Parks & Recreation Division announced this schedule, noting that dates may change. The project includes resurfacing various courts in the park.
Different courts will close at different times. The tennis courts will close from February 26 to April 1, the racquetball courts from March 4 to April 1, the basketball courts from April 8 to April 29, and the bocce ball courts from April 29 to May 20. The public’s cooperation during these closures is appreciated.
During these closures, other courts at various locations are available. These include Big Corkscrew Island Regional Park, Donna Fiala Eagle Lakes Community Park, East Naples Community Park, Max A. Hasse Jr. Community Park, Pelican Bay Community Park, Veterans Community Park, and Vineyards Community Park. These parks offer basketball, tennis, racquetball, and bocce ball courts.
