Following our story last year about the state’s most romantic restaurants , along with numerous other lists covering everything from top waterfront dining destinations to the tastiest burgers , our USA TODAY Network’s Florida Dining and Entertainment Team now shifts our focus to a list from another company.
Just before Valentine’s Day, OpenTable unveiled its annual roster of the Top 100 Romantic Restaurants in America for 2024 .
The online restaurant reservation and review service noted that its new list spans 34 states and Washington D.C. Once again, California claims the top spot with 12 restaurants, followed by Florida with seven.
OpenTable also highlighted in a press release issued Feb. 7 that Valentine’s Day is evolving.
“Valentine’s Day dining is changing — it’s more inclusive for friends and families, and celebrations are extending beyond Feb. 14,” said Steve Sintra, SVP, US Restaurant Sales & Services, in a statement. “Book before Feb. 9, which is when the race for Valentine’s Day reservations really heats up, or celebrate at off-peak dates for the best shot of scoring your desired reservation.”
