Hurricane Beryl not alone in Atlantic; NHC monitoring 3 tropical waves

The National Hurricane Center is keeping an eye on a tropical wave in the central Atlantic that has some chance of developing further as of Tuesday morning. The disturbance, called Invest 96L, is located about 1,000 miles east-southeast of the Windward Islands, according to forecasters. It’s currently producing limited shower and thunderstorm activity as it moves toward the west at 15 to 20 mph across the western tropical Atlantic and eastern Caribbean.
