Bonita Springs continues to celebrate the city’s 25th anniversary throughout the year – it was incorporated the second time on Dec. 3, 1999.
The city will be sharing short videos highlighting Bonita Springs’ history and hosting contests. More details about the city’s celebrations will be shared on the city’s social platforms and website. You can also download the city’s free mobile app .
To mark the anniversary, the city is rolling out a new design for the city’s homepage. Visit cityofbonitasprings.org to view the new history-focused design. The web page design will be in place until January 2025.
The photo contest encourages residents to submit photos in several categories showcasing Bonita Springs. Everyone is invited to photograph landscapes, vibrant communities and unique moments that make Bonita Springs special.
This contest is open to all residents and visitors who would like to participate. Categories include natural beauty, community connections, architectural wonders, waterfront views, pets and Bonita history. There is also an under -18 category titled showcasing Bonita Springs, that will allow young photographers to highlight the unique perspective of Bonita Springs through their eyes.
