Private 8 quarterfinals

No. 1 Seacrest 3, No. 8 Evangelical Christian 0: The Stingrays swept the Sentinels, 25-15, 25-20, 25-15 in the opening round of action.

No. 4 First Baptist 3, No. 5 Bishop Verot 0: The Lions moved to 7-1 with a sweep of the Vikings, 25-7, 25-15, 25-18. Zara Stewart finished with 16 kills and 15 digs, while Peyton Garrick added 13 kills and 13 digs. Laila Stewart had 28 assists and Jade Rau ended with 20 digs.

No. 2 Canterbury 3, No. 7 SFCA 0: The Cougars advanced to the Private 8 semifinals but it didn’t come without a fight against the King’s in a 27-25, 25-15, 25-23 win. Gigi Noah had 11 kills to pace the SFCA attack, while Robbie Warden had 21 digs.
