Florida Subway That Is Part Of Sunoco Station Shut Down After A State Inspection

Floridians know that restaurant food in the Sunshine State doesn’t always come in a stand-alone brick-and-mortar restaurant. Food trucks and eateries inside of stores and gas stations have become common. And a Subway inside of a Naples Sunoco gas station was recently temporarily shut down after a state inspection for a pretty uncommon reason.

Florida Subways In Gas Stations: People visiting Florida from other states or areas may be surprised to find Subways in gas stations in Florida. But they aren’t that uncommon. As just a few examples, there’s a Subway inside a Mobile in Tampa, in a Rally in Sun City Center, and in a Circle K in Davenport.

The location in question, at 384 Randall Boulevard, is in a Sunoco. It earns 3.9 out of 5 stars on Google reviews. Some criticized the customer service. A reviewer named Tom wrote:

“Ordered online 45 minutes before pickup. (I) got there and there (wasn’t) a mobile pickup and nothing was made. Workers were clueless until they found my receipt. (The) toaster has been broken for over a month. Subway should just shut this place down.”
