NAPLES, Fla. – An animal hospital is stepping up to care for some tiny creatures that need extra help this time of year. The Von Arx Wildlife Hospital at the Conservancy of Southwest Florida is currently treating 21 nestling gray squirrels. They say it’s baby squirrel season, and many of them get injured because tree trimmers don’t know they’re around.
