When it comes to retirement communities, Southwest Florida has plenty of them. But which ones stand out?
Only a handful made Newsweek’s “best” continuing care retirement communities for 2025 because of their top-notch services, lush campuses and vast amenities.
- Moorings Park in Naples came in fourth nationally and second in Florida, according to the 2025 list.
- The Glenview at Pelican Bay in Naples is 24 th nationally and fifth in Florida.
- Shell Point in Fort Myers ranked 76 th in the U.S. and 11 th in Florida.
- Cypress Cove in Fort Myers ranked 149 in the U.S. and 22 nd in Florida
- Vi at Bentley Village in Naples is 186 th nationally and 23 rd in Florida.
It is the second year that Newsweek has teamed up with Statista, a global data research firm, to rank America’s best 300 continuing care retirement communities, CCRC’s, in 25 states where the retirement communities are prevalent.
Nationally there are more than 2,000 of these communities, according to Newsweek.
