Florida Teenagers Arrested for Attacking Easter Bunny at Naples Mall

Three teenagers are facing charges for attacking the Easter Bunny at a mall in Naples, Florida on Sunday.

Unprovoked Attack Shocks Shoppers

Three teenagers have been taken into custody after allegedly assaulting a woman dressed as the Easter Bunny at Coastland Mall in Naples . The incident occurred on Sunday when Naples Police Department officers responded to reports of a disturbance at the shopping center.

According to authorities, the victim, a 24-year-old woman, was returning to a break room while still in costume when she was confronted by three juveniles—two aged 13 and one aged 14. The teens reportedly began to physically harass her by pushing, shoving, and pulling at her costume.

Authorities Condemn Teen’s Behavior

Lieutenant Bryan McGinn, Public Information Officer for the Naples Police Department, expressed dismay over the incident. “They were following her back to her staging area, tugging on her, pushing her, and attempting to pull the costume apart,” McGinn stated. “It was an unprovoked attack on someone simply trying to bring joy to children. The fact that these individuals thought this was acceptable behavior is truly disturbing.”

The woman did not sustain any physical injuries but was left shaken by the ordeal. A witness provided a sworn statement to law enforcement, supporting the victim’s account of events.
