A 32-year-old Lehigh Acres woman has been arrested for allegedly acting as the getaway driver for her husband during five armed robberies at businesses in Collier County.
Crystal Garza is now lodged in the Collier County jail, facing five counts of armed robbery with a firearm. Her husband, Christopher Arrick Townsend, 37, has been in custody since February 27, already charged with multiple armed robberies.
Collier County Sheriff Kevin Rambosk stated, “This individual was a willing participant in multiple violent crimes in our county, and now she will be held accountable for her criminal actions. I am committed to keeping Collier County safe, and we will pursue those who think they can threaten the security of our community.”…
