Convicted Felon Arrested With Enough Fentanyl To Kill Entire Population Of A Florida County

A significant blow was dealt to the local drug trade on Thursday as Collier County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics detectives arrested a convicted felon and seized a massive cache of illicit drugs, including enough fentanyl to kill every person in Collier County.

Nesly Dieujuste, 38, was taken into custody at his residence on 48th Street SW. Detectives executing a search warrant discovered nearly 1.5 kilograms of fentanyl. According to the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), this amount is potent enough to administer a lethal dose to approximately 750,000 people.

“It is my mission to rid our community of illegal drugs, especially the dangerous opioid fentanyl,” stated Sheriff Kevin Rambosk. “Our deputies will not stop until all narcotics are off the street, and anyone who harms our citizens by selling these drugs is in jail.”…
