The stats are sobering. Every year, approximately 90,000 people in the U.S. are diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease (PD), including some 7,000 in Southwest Florida alone—more than breast, prostate or colon cancer combined.
The Parkinson’s Association of Southwest Florida is working hard to bring awareness of the disease and the critical need for access to resources for those suffering, their caregivers and their families.
