The Conservancy of Southwest Florida hosted its annual Wildlife Baby Shower at its Nature Center on June 14, with attendees donating 214 items to support baby animals in need of care and medications at the von Arx Wildlife Hospital.
In addition to donated food, vitamins, paper towels and syringes, $1,511 was donated to support animal care at the von Arx Wildlife Hospital.
During the event, attendees who donated an item from the Conservancy’s wish list or donated to von Arx had the opportunity to choose to receive free admission to the Conservancy for the day or a discounted family membership for $60 ($100 value).
