As the Town of Fort Myers Beach continues to work toward opening its new Town Hall building at 6231 Estero Boulevard, four main government meetings will be held back at DiamondHead Resort.
The two regular 9AM Town Council meetings (8/4 and 8/18), the 9AM Management & Planning meeting (8/7) and the 9AM LPA meeting (8/18) will be held in the lobby ballroom of the resort.
DiamondHead was a huge help to the Fort Myers Beach government immediately after Hurricane Ian when Town Hall was destroyed. The resort opened its doors to the town immediately where all government meetings were held until the town could come up with its temporary trailer location on the Bay Oaks property.
