The IMAG History & Science Center, a FutureMakers Coalition partner, received a generous grant from Lee County Industrial Development Authority to launch an innovative after-school program.
Collaboratory provides backbone support for FutureMakers Coalition and has partnered with IMAG to evaluate the program’s impact and outcomes.
The grant provides the opportunity for Lee County elementary students to attend a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) program designed to introduce them to essential 21st-century skills that will prepare them for the workforce. The program provides training in robotics, coding, technology, and engineering at IMAG’s Fort Myers location and the STEMLab in Estero.
FutureMakers Coalition will support data tracking, workforce alignment, and program evaluation. Families registering for the program will participate in a career-focused intake process through FutureMakers, which helps connect parents with reskilling and job training opportunities…
