Better health and lasting results are possible when you build sustainable habits. Lee Health is proud to offer Pivio – the complete health improvement program – designed to help you take control of your health and create meaningful, long-term change.
Led by Erika Graziani, RD, LDN, a registered dietitian, this 12-week program includes 18 virtual group sessions and provides a practical, sustainable action plan rooted in proven behavior change techniques.
The program is built around the six pillars of lifestyle medicine:
- A plant-rich eating pattern
- Physical activity
- Meaningful social connections
- Avoidance of risky substances
- Sleep and rest
- Stress management
“Lee Health has implemented this program with our employees and seen impressive clinical outcomes,” Erika said. She shared the following cumulative averages from four Lee Health Pivio cohorts:
- 9.5-pound average weight loss
- 8% reduction in systolic blood pressure
- 10% reduction in diastolic blood pressure
- 13% reduction in total cholesterol
- 15% reduction in LDL cholesterol
- 13% reduction in triglycerides
- 8% reduction in fasting glucose
- 5% reduction in hemoglobin A1C
“There are still spots available in our next 12-week session, and we’re inviting community members to join our Lee Health team in this transformational experience,” Erika said. “The program kicks off with an in-person orientation on Thursday, Aug. 28, and the first virtual class begins Tuesday, Sept. 9.”…
