Naples Hooters Donates $6,000 and 100 Backpacks to Support Homeless Students Through Christmas in July Foundation

Hooters of Naples continued its commitment to giving back by donating $6,000 and 100 fully stocked backpacks to the Christmas in July Foundation of Collier County during a special check presentation held on July 28 at the Naples restaurant, located at 3625 Gateway Lane. The donation drive took place throughout the month of July, during which restaurant guests were encouraged to contribute backpacks and school supplies to benefit students in need.

This year’s initiative was sponsored by Kitchens by Clay, a Naples-based luxury kitchen design and remodeling company owned by Clay Cox, a longtime Hooters customer and community supporter. Cox joined Hooters staff and representatives from the foundation for the presentation, emphasizing the power of local business partnerships in supporting vulnerable youth.

The Christmas in July Foundation of Collier County is a nonprofit organization that supports Collier County Public Schools (CCPS) students identified as homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. The foundation provides these students with essentials like backpacks, school supplies, and clothing, not only to prepare them for the academic year but to ensure they return to school with confidence and pride.
